About this deal

That is not to criticise the design at all, because it offers the right detail that it needs to, both on the exterior at one scale and in the interior at another. Likewise, it is a model that doesn’t need to be any bigger in size. There’s enough space and features inside to recreate all the story so far seen from The Mandalorian, while the outside sits at a perfect balance between size and detail on show. As expected for a set of this size, the box is pretty massive. It has a neat design of the Imperial Light Cruiser flying through space, accompanied by a couple of TIE fighters. The included Grogu - the Child LEGO figure affectionately known as Baby Yoda, adds an emotional touch to solo or creative play with friends The next minifigure is exclusive, and is none other than Moff Gideon himself. His head print looks accurate, but his torso print design is surprisingly simple and the legs are unprinted. Given the low height of the rear section I suppose this was the best use of space that the designers could come up with.

Keepability: 4/5 – this set is worth keeping, especially for fans of the Mandalorian or Star Wars ships in general. It certainly looks good on display. The selection of minifigures seen during this wave of LEGO® Star Wars sets has been remarkable, and the ones included in this set are no exception, although it is a shame that many of them are only included in the most expensive set of the wave. For what it is as a vehicle, it doesn’t open too many areas for play on the exterior, but the designers have still worked in a couple of fun ways to interact with the model – including the storage hangar for the TIE Fighters towards the rear of the ship, and a launch mechanism built into the front so as to send them out into space. Somewhat unfortunately, you have to have the panels of the ship open so as to activate that feature.i clearly do not understand who needs that much remakes.. and its ooooold.. the beard of that is longer then 10 years. if i would let mine grow that long i would be falling over and over. It’s not particularly fun to play with, as the TIE only launches a few centimetres, and the feature only works with the top of the ship open so it looks rather odd. I’m not sure this play feature was an effective use of parts. Here’s a look at her alternate face, which looks more sly. This figure is now no longer exclusive, as it appeared in 75326, but the helmet piece is still exclusive. I do wish a hairpiece was included in this set, as in most scenes she does not wear her helmet. I also have to disagree regarding Carla's hairpiece. It really looks nothing like her style in the show, and a new or different hair would have been preferred. Gideon looks very nice, however I feel like the reddish brown doesn't suit him. One of the nougat shades would probably be better. Fennec looks absolutely brilliant though, figure of the year contender for sure! Despite the missing hairpiece, it looks amazing and so detailed!

The body uses the LEGO baby body mould, while the head is a unique rubbery mould. I love the big printed eyes and the long ears. The torso has some printing but the area printed is a little small, still that is a minor complaint.Left: The print for the Mandalorian’s helmet included in this copy of 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser was a bit off… Ultimately, the sense of value can be best demonstrated in the surprise we felt when lifting up 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser when complete – it’s far heavier than we anticipated. That surprise, though, is a negative reflection of the how really it does not seem like 1,336 pieces of LEGO have gone into the set. It has the appearance of a set with closer to 800 pieces. Lots of Technic pins on the inside, lots of large grey panels on the outside. The starship toy features a bridge that doubles as a handle for flying and 2 rotating turrets with spring-loaded shooters for epic battles I'm not too bothered about the inaccuracies compared to Arquitens. I'm sure this is simply a problem with the designers reference material, as even in universe the distinction between Arquitens and Gideon's ship is a little unclear.

Starship features bridge that doubles as handle for flying, 2 rotating turrets and hatch to access cabin I set out to arrange all of my minifigures together from the August Releases: The Duel on Mandalore, Imperial Armourder Marauder, Boba Fett’s Star Ship, the Mandalorian Starfighter, The Bad Batch shuttle, the Imperial Light Cruiser and the UCS Republic Gunship. I am missing the 2 figures from the 75296 Darth Vader Meditation Chamber. The minifigure selection in this set is good, with some standouts like Fennec Shand and the Dark Trooper, but I feel like a set of this size needed one more figure. Personally, I would’ve liked a live-action version of Bo-Katan, or even just another Dark Trooper. The front of the ship seems to be yet another area where the designers tried to make the best of a limited space. This is supposed to be the front hangar of the ship, and you can take one of the TIEs from the rear hangars and place them here. This vessel closely resembles the Arquitens-class Command Cruiser, integrating an identical notch towards the prow. The shape here looks reasonable and I welcome this mixture of light and dark bluish grey colours. However, several blue Technic pins are clearly visible inside the notch and these look awful, which is particularly disappointing because they could easily have been concealed behind tiles. The figure can be attached via a stud at the bottom, while the hands are bars so it has a couple attachment points. Our completed guns rotate on a turntable. The guns are loaded with transparent bright green spring missiles, which look a lot like the laser blasts used by the Empire.
