Virtual Desktop Setup Finally, battery life is anywhere from an hour and a half to just over two hours. It’s not a lot, and Meta offers an extra battery, but as someone who enjoys VR sessions in bursts, it felt like just the right amount for me. With huge RPGs like Asgard’s Wrath 2 on the way that’ll no doubt feel like huge time-sinks, you may want to consider that extra power option, though. Meta Quest 3: Software and games
Environmentally Friendly and Chemical-Free. Steam cleaners are a great way to clean your home without using harsh chemicals. As they only use hot steam to kill germs and remove dirt, they are also environmentally friendly. For Oculus Link, you’ll need a USB-C cable to connect your Quest to your computer. The benefit of using a wired connection is reliability. The wireless connections — Air Link and Virtual Desktop — can be less reliable, depending on your conditions. Next, enable Air Link on the Quest 3 headset by putting on your headset: Go to ‘Settings’>‘Experimental Features’. First of all, you’ll need an AC or AX router with a 5Ghz network for good performance, with your PC connected via Ethernet. Meta warns that mesh wifi networks or computers connected wirelessly are known to cause performance problems.The PIRATECH Portable Clothes Steamer is everything that the name suggests and then some, for good measure. Measuring 26.6 x 24.8 x 13.7 centimetres and reaching 1.2 kilogrammes on the weight scales, the model is not necessarily as lean as the previous handheld steamers that we've reviewed above and not quite as lightweight. Nevertheless, this steamer can still make the portable claim. Whilst its footprint is not very modest, neither are the model's specs. Make sure to enable developer mode on your Quest 3! This must be done through your Meta Quest mobile app. First things first, this model is distinguished by 1600W of power output. It doesn't heat up faster than its less powerful competition, requiring the same 40-45 seconds, but it does produce more steam (30g/m) and offers around 10 minutes of continuous heat time, which makes it suitable for a wider range of ironing tasks, including touching last-minute details, sprucing up your tees and shirts, as well as refreshing upholstery and curtains.
While the manufacturer claims it can provide steam for up to 20 minutes, the reality is that it’s unlikely to last this long. The manual also claims that the water tank is 350ml, but it’s recommended that you only actually fill it to 250ml.
Underneath the headset, you’ll find a wheel to adjust focus, while there’s also a volume button. The power button is just under the USB-C charging port on the left-hand side. Air Link allows you to play SteamVR games on your Quest 3 through WiFi, as long as you have a powerful (5Ghz) router that’s in close proximity to your headset (ideally in the same room). While it’s not getting any younger, consider the Meta Quest 2 as an affordable introduction to the magic of VR that offers a lot of what its successor does. Its controllers are bulkier and that screen door effect is worse, but other than that, it remains an excellent headset.
