While Hot Six was definitely not my favorite book in the series, it managed to keep my interest in the characters I’ve grown to really like and give me a halfway decent mystery besides. Colourful word pictures are created along the way- and one is anxious to read the next in the series, especially to see what Grandma will be up to next. Stephanie shrewdly guesses that Homer's death was faked, and Alexander and Hannibal have been hiding him in their houses until he can be slipped out of the country. Stephanie’s eccentric Grandma Mazur is still around and living with her granddaughter, creating all sorts of havoc.
