Bring your needle back through the middle of the strap to the top side, and repeat the process of threading 2 pearls, 1 silver and 2 pearls, passing through each silver bead to create a line of beads through the middle of each circle. Take your ribbon again and wrap it around and back and forth across the center "V" of your flip-flops to fill in. I had to let these cute pink flip flops go to my flip-flop swap partner, but I did start my own pair and will hopefully be able to finish those before the end of summer!

My daughter bought gray flip flops, silver ribbon and her beads were all pearls in different sizes of muted pastels. Now thread your needle onto one of the side strands of cotton running along the part of the strap that sits on the outside of your foot. Remove your needle, and separate out the strands of cotton so that you have two on each side, and one in the middle. Thread your needle with 5 long strands of cotton (the longer the better as this will avoid having to start a new piece of cotton part-way through). Starting on the lower left-hand side of the first strap, begin by gluing the ribbon to the inside strap as close as you can to the bottom.

I had no particular pattern, other than not wanting to place one type of bead right next to the exact same kind. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. Next, use your strong glue and individual beads to fill in any very obviously empty places along the edge of your shoes. Continue to wrap the ribbon around the other side of the strap until you get to the bottom, where you cut the ribbon and glue it down to the inside. Just remember to take care of the glue sandwiched in between the 2 layers of your sole so you don’t make a big mess.

You cannot cancel a purchase by refusing to receive the item without at the same time giving us clear notice of this. Pass the needle through to the under side of the flip flop strap and begin to secure each of these loops in place as you did before; you will need to create a series of small tacking stitches around the edge of each loop (I did two on each side), passing your needle under the flip flop strap, over the edge of the beaded loop, and back again. While the piece is still warm, but not too hot to handle, run the thong pieces through the appropriate holes with the melted side DOWN. And thinking I didn’t have enough white Perler beads I purchased a bag of SIX THOUSAND white Perler beads to use for this project. I just used Tacky Glue from Joann’s and didn’t sew them; it worked but it took longer because I had to sit there and hold them until they dried.These fun beaded designs are just a little bit smaller than my palm and make really ideal embellishments for cards and papercrafts. I suggest letting the glue from the buttons dry at least a half-hour before starting to sew the beads onto it. If the item has been tried on beyond what is described here, it is considered used and of diminished value. There will be “slack” using a wider ribbon, that will not show up as much or if at all as compared with a smaller-width ribbon. Now thread both of these strands of cotton onto the needle and add a silver bead to join them together.
